We spent seven nights on board the biggest, most expensive cruise ship in the entire world! Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas holds an absolutely mind-blowing 10,000 people (7,000 passengers and 3,000 crew). In the video above, we take you on a massive walking tour through all 20 decks and 8 distinct neighborhoods, from the serene Central Park to the jaw-dropping AquaDome and the six water slides up on Thrill Island.
Our Honest Verdict
This ship is a literal floating city, and the entertainment is legitimately second to none. If you want a really relaxing, quiet holiday, this is not the cruise for you—it is noisy, active, and constantly buzzing. But if you want Broadway-quality shows, an unbelievable variety of food, and endless fun, there is simply nothing else like it at sea.
However, we paid over $7,000 for a suite on this sailing, and honestly? We think it was a waste of money. The ship has so many incredible complimentary venues and spaces that you simply do not need to pay the massive premium for suite access. Save your money, book a regular cabin, and spend the savings on the specialty dining!
Our Mediterranean Vlog Series
We sailed 7-nights around the Mediterranean in August 2026. We booked a Panoramic Suite (Deck 16). This is a very unusual cabin because it doesn't actually have a balcony! Instead, it features a gigantic, floor-to-ceiling panoramic window overlooking the ocean.

Part 1: Embarkation & Panoramic Suite Tour
We check into a Panoramic Oceanview Stateroom right at the front of the ship, featuring massive floor-to-ceiling glass windows instead of a traditional balcony. We share our honest first impressions as we explore the ship before the crowds arrive.
Part 2: Port Days, Entertainment & Ship Complaints
We test out the food hall concepts in the AquaDome Market, brave the brutal queue times for the waterslides, and give our verdict on the West End-quality production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We also sit down to address the biggest internet complaints about the Icon class to see if it really is too crowded.
